Whiskey Acres Recipes
BOURBON SLUSH - PARTY TIME!!!
9 cups water, divided
3 black tea bags
2 cups sugar
2 cans of frozen lemonade concentrate
1 can of frozen orange juice concentrate
2 cups of Whiskey Acres Bourbon
Ginger Ale for a splash finish
In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to boil. Add tea bags and allow to seep for 10 minutes. Discard teabags. Stir in sugar until completely dissolved.
In large container, combine tea/sugar mixture, lemon and orange juice concentrates, water and bourbon
Pour into a flat tupperware container and freeze for 4-6 hours, or over night if possible.
Serve using an ice cream scoop. Top with a splash of ginger ale.
BOURBON MILK PUNCH
1.75 oz Whiskey Acres Bourbon
4 oz Whole Milk
Tbsp of Maple Syrup
Tsp of Vanilla extract
Add all ingredients into cocktail shaker and shake well.
Pour over ice and top with cinnamon and nutmeg.
BARN DOOR
.5-oz. Grenadine
4-5-oz. Ginger Ale
2-3 dashes of ORANGE BITTERS
Combine ingredients over ice in rocks glass. Stir. Serve with maraschino cherry and/or orange wheel.
BOURBON N BLUES
6-oz. Lemonade (use the good stuff)
Tbsp of Blueberry Syrup
Blueberries for garnish
Fill glass with ice and add the bourbon. Swirl in the blueberry syrup. Add lemonade. Stir will. Garnish with blueberries.
OLD FASHIONED
.5-oz. simple syrup
1 brandied cherry
1 orange wedge
2 dashes of angostura bitters
In a mixing glass; muddle cherry, orange wedge and bitters. Add simple syrup and Whiskey. Fill glass ¾ of the way with ice and stir until chilled. Pour into rocks glass.
MIDWEST MULE
2-oz. Whiskey Acres Bourbon
.5-oz. lime juice
4-5 oz. ginger beer
In a cocktail shaker, add Whiskey Acres Bourbon and lime juice. Quickly shake over ice and then add the ginger beer to incorporate all flavors. If topping off the drink, it will be layered and not balanced. Pour over ice in a Collins glass and garnish with a lime wheel.
