SEEDING WHEAT & RYE
Harvest is always a busy time around here but this year it was even a bit more hectic as we were racing to get the soybeans cut in time to get our wheat and rye seeded in a timely fashion. These small grains will grow yet this fall and will overwinter in a dormant state waiting to hit the ground running come spring. By summertime we will be happily harvesting what we hope to be a bountiful crop! Our small grains will be used in our Bourbon and Rye Whiskies.
