Patti Vasquez is the host of THE PATTI VASQUEZ SHOW on Chicago’s WGN Radio, a stand up comedian and co-creator of the upcoming series “PATTI HAPPENS.”
Patti was born and raised in Chicago and has established herself as local media presence. As a radio talk show host on WGN, Patti quickly claimed the number 1 spot for late night radio. She has appeared as a commentator on WGN- TV Morning News and Fox Good Day Chicago. She also served as a fill-in host for WCIU’s You & Me in the Morning. Recently, Patti was honored by the National Museum of Mexican Art and The University Of Illinois for her contributions to art and advocacy work.
In addition to headlining in comedy clubs and colleges all over the United States, Canada and Europe, Patti has written and performed three hit solo shows for theater audiences: Tequila and Shamrocks: Every Flower Has Her Roots, Pregnant Party Girl: From Stoli’s to Stirrups, Mamacita: Tales of a Diaper Diva. On television Patti has appeared on NICK’S MOM’S NIGHT OUT on Nickelodeon, THE VERY FUNNY SHOW on TBS, MTV’s Tr3s, COMEDY.TV, and Comics Unleashed. Patti also made regular appearances on the popular Bob and Tom TV Show on Superstation WGN and their daily morning radio show, syndicated in 139 cities across the country. Patti has appeared in many comedy festivals including Just For Laughs, HBO’s Las Vegas Comedy Festival, the Chicago Comedy Festival and Marshall’s Women in Comedy Festival in New York City.
While still hosting her eclectic and wildly successful radio show, Patti began working with ABC to develop a sitcom based on Patti’s life. She graduated from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana with a degree in History. She later disappointed her parents by dropping out of Northwestern’s Ph.D program to become a stand up comic. It all worked out in the end. Or at least, so far so good.
Paul Farahvar has been delighting audiences with his self-deprecating dry humor, centered on being an aging single. After training at The Second City and iO in Chicago, Farahvar quickly became a regular at local stand-up clubs, Zanies, Comedy Bar and Laugh Factory. Farahvar's hard work, prior stage life (He was/is also a musician) and ease at connecting with audiences have allowed him to achieve remarkably rapid success by industry standards, including the rare opportunity to host and produce his own monthly (now weekly) called "Drink Date Laugh" about dating and a new comedic game show called "Everyone's a Lawyer" both at the World Famous Laugh Factory. He currently tours regularly with national headliners Demetri Martin, Jen Kirkman, Keith Alberstadt and Chris Franjola when he is not headlining. Farahvar currently performs stand up regularly at Laugh Factory (Chicago, Las Vegas, Hollywood), Zanies (Chicago, Rosemont, and St. Charles), House of Comedy (Phoenix, Minnesota), Skyline Comedy Club (Wisconsin and Tacoma), Comedy Club on State, Comedy Bar (Chicago) and McCurdys (Florida). He is also the host of the Podcast "Singles Only" (iTunes, Laugh Factory Channel) and a regular guest on Pretty Late with Patti Vasquez on WGN Radio. He also played "Karam Haddad" on NBC's "Chicago Med" in 2017.
